the cycle is cyclical

This project introduces the general public to what experiential graphic design is using the SEGD manifesto spoken word piece recently created by Harold Green. Dilworth Park serves as the site for this exhange to happen.

The design concept will educate the public on how the principles of power, hope, equity, and creativity can lead to Grand Design. The path and repetition are key to this experiential design.

Content for the project came directly from the organization’s manifesto titled Grand Design. After disecting the manifesto key themes of power, community, design, and hope were pulled to further digest. These key themes allowed me to extract powerful lines from the manifesto to act as the main subject of the installations created. Each installation has a site specific location that relates the chosen line of the manifesto.
